Alesa turned 59 today so we celebrated by bringing the whole family together.  Mike's family took her to see "The Golden Compass" which she heartily enjoyed.  I stayed home and caught up on things needing caught up on, which we both heartily enjoyed.  I told Mike that for my next birthday they should take Nana to the movies.  Later there was a "Nana's cooking class" for chocolate desserts as Danielle asked for the recipe for Nana's chocolate caramels for her family Christmas party at their new house.  Lisa really got into chocolate covering and we had to hide things we didn't want covered.  The grandkids played together and then decorated gingerbread men and large gingerbread mittens.
