Two more trips to the dump and another to Goodwill but this time the one just down the street from Jeff’s. Took more than the contracted space and luckily they will just bill you for the additional. The buyers made a final inspection of the house and returned the security deposit. Jeff had rented the house from them after the closing in April. We packed our car with the stuff we are going to take home with us to make sure it would fit and it did then packed Jeff’s two cars for the trip. We closed the trailer and they will pick it up later. Was worried I’d hurt myself at some point in the process and I was doing fine until the absolutely last task which was helping Bailey load the ramp back into the trailer. I pinched the tip of my left hand index finger and am sure I will lose the nail. Doesn’t hurt too much and I will survive. We all said goodbye the Allsmeer Drive house and drove away. We dropped our car off at a friends, returned equipment to Comcast and headed west on the turnpike and down I-81 to the Country Inn & Suites in Winchester, VA. We will all sleep well tonight.
