Today is the first day of Winter and the world didn't end as predicted so I guess I had better do some Christmas shopping since my primary plan fell through. Alesa, always the optimist, says the day isn't over. We went over to Mike's this morning to attend the Overlook Winter Concert at 9:30. Annika played the bells, played violin in the 5th and 6th grade strings ensemble and sang in the choir. She even got to introduce the choir's first song. Needless to say she did an excellent job all around and the concert overall was really quite good. The security was much tighter this year as we were funneled through the office, had to show ID, sign in and then had to leave immediately after the concert.
