Anniversary

December 27, 2021

Today was our 52nd wedding anniversary and we were greeted by snow this morning which was great to see but it was gone by noon. We visited with my sister Marilyn and Helen who arrived as we were leaving to take Marilyn for a doctor appointment. We stopped to see Aunt Bernice who lives just a few blocks away. We then drove around Erie a bit and did some shopping. There is no tax on clothing in Pennsylvania and Alesa bought a new pair of sneakers. My shoulder was still hurting me so as we drove by the VA hospital, I thought I'd see if they were busy at urgent care. They weren't so I stopped in and had it checked. The doctor checked it, took some x-rays and prescribed some steroids which I picked up at the pharmacy. Alesa was reading in the car and I was in and out in just under an hour. The steroids are helping and I will have an MRI when I get home if it is still bothering me. Arthritis and calcium buildup but couldn't tell any other damage with just an x-ray. Bob and Cathy hosted a dinner for us with the Browns, Becca and her two girls. It was a great time and we really appreciated it.
