Yesterday we finished working on the trailer and took it over to a storage area just a couple of miles from the house.  It's a few bucks more a month but is close and is paved.  It is nice to have our driveway back.  Today was our annual apple picking outing.  It is becoming harder to get everybody together and we appreciate the effort the kids make to make it happen.  We had a great time because the weather was great and the apples were even better.  We have all four grandkids for the weekend for a sort of mini-camp so Nana can give the gifts and try out the activities conjured during our time away this summer.  And, no, Bailey doesn't need the crutches.  I guess he spent the weekend on them practicing because he is a motorcycle rider and is expecting to need them at some point.
