Saturday, we went to the Mesa Flea Market. It's a large market and we had a long walk. Bailey bought a cowboy hat and I replaced the magnetic ball marker I misplaced. We then did some grocery shopping for a Mothers' Day brunch. Danielle's cousin, who lives in the area, stopped over that night to share some genealogical research she had done on their family. I added the information she provided to my Family Tree Maker software and did some additional research on Ancestry. Bridget came home for the weekend for Mothers' Day and her 19th birthday is today (Monday). Jeff prepared an excellent brunch for Mothers' Day. We then celebrated Bridget's 19th birthday because she has to work on Monday. After all that food settled, we all went to the Phoenix Premium Outlets for another long walk and some shopping. Bailey and Bridget both headed back to their apartments and Jeff finished the evening with an excellent pork chop dinner. Today was Bailey's interview for his internship and the news is great. He was hired on the spot and can work full or part time and will be paid. It is a small, local company and there are many opportunities. Sounds like he will be doing actual architecture work rather than gopher, office-boy type work. He is over the moon happy, as are we. The interviewer graduated from ASU and had some of same professors as Bailey and he is from Pittsburgh so they hit it off from the start. We played pickleball this morning before Jeff headed to the airport for an afternoon flight to Milwaukee for business. He will be back on Thursday. Later, we took a hike around the water reclamation ponds on the paths that are still accessible.
