We went back into Washington for our trip to the coast.  Saw Mount St. Helens so we drove up to the visitors' center and got a good view of the mountain.  Crossed back across the Columbia River over the smallest bridge we could find but Alesa was still squeezing my fingers pretty hard.  We toured Astoria before heading down the Pacific Coast Highway.   The scenery was breathtaking along the coast and even as we crossed the Coastal Range on our way back to Portland. PacificCoast 006PacificCoast 063PacificCoast 017PacificCoast 041
