We went back to Erie for Caitlin's graduation party and the Niebauer mini-reunion.  Both of the boys and their families went back as well.  Mike is staying through the 4th but we, as well as Jeff, came back today.  We were going to go back for 2 weeks and stay through the 4th but it was easier to be back to continue the IV treatment for the hip.  I drove most of the way up on Thursday and Alesa drove most of the way back today.  On the way back we saw a large black bear running along the road in a field about 100 feet away.  We had a great time at both events.  It's always fun visiting with family and friends and both were well hosted thanks to Bob & Cathy and Pat & Tracy.  My hip feels ok but continues to drain.  I have 3 weeks left of the IV antibiotic treatment and then we'll see.
