Back in Exton

October 24, 2008

We arrived home yesterday after a clear and sunny ride across the state.  The scenery was great and we did see a flock of wild turkeys but most of the leaves were past peak or, because it has been so dry, just turning brown and dropping off.  On Monday I went to see my sister Marilyn and Alesa went for a walk around the Peninsula with her sister Tracy and Bob's daughter Becca.  On Tuesday we went to see Art and Annie and on Wednesday we went to Peek'n Peak to stay with Roni & Denny.  That afternoon we went with them to visit Aunt Betty and Aunt Helen (Roni's mother) in Corry and then watched the Phillies win the first game of the world series.  On the way out yesterday we saw the "Pumpkin Cannon" used the previous weekend to shoot at targets on the ski slopes during "Fall Fest".  Sorry we missed it because punkin chunkin is something I could get into.  Although I wouldn't volunteer to catch them.
