Back to Mike's

December 30, 2017

Since both Alesa and Jeff got new tennis rackets for Christmas we had to play at the first possible moment. Thursday was that moment so the three of us drove over to the high school courts and played for about a half an hour. It was 15 degrees and windy so we didn't last long. So, we went back out yesterday and played for about an hour and a half. It was 23 degrees but sunny and not windy so it was actually pretty nice but we were headed over to Mike's so we had to stop. When we got to Mike's we played a new game with the girls called "Cats". Then when Lisa got home from work, Alesa, Lisa and the girls played a Harry Potter version of "Clue". When Mike was done working we ate, talked and watched football and then off to bed. This morning we woke up to a snowfall which lasted to mid morning and probably added up to five inches, nowhere near Erie's five feet. It was light and fluffy and posed no problem. We and the girls went to H-Mart, a huge Asian grocery store, to buy sushi supplies. We stopped at Wawa on the way home for coffee and cocoa then back to make and eat sushi. Mike headed off to watch the Penn State game with friends and we headed back to Jeff's for the last part of Danielle's mother's family Christmas party at their house (and the Penn State game). Oh yes, and on the way to Mike's we received a phone call saying we won a 42 inch TV set. We had attended a grand opening of a Premier Medical office in the Villages a few weeks ago and filled out entry cards and we had won. They wanted to take our pictures this Tuesday but we will be on the road so we will call them when we get back. Wish we needed another TV set, but we'll find a use for it.
