Jeff's birthday was the 1st and Danielle's birthday was the 20th and they came over on both days so we could celebrate with them. Of course, both days included a cake, singing and a candle. We continue to ride our e-bikes most days, go to the gym with Jeff 4 to 5 times a week and Alesa plays pickleball with Jeff, Bridget and Bailey every Monday evening. Alesa is more active than me as my leg is still hurting. I have my much-awaited appointment with a neurosurgeon on Monday and we are hoping for a final solution. Alesa has had a number of 'heart' tests this month to establish a baseline and she has passed them all with flying colors. Our pool continues to be our retreat after activities in the heat. Alesa says "We bought a pool with a house attached". Her favorite spot is under the waterfall or floating around with a little sieve to rescue any bugs who might have wandered in. Bought plane tickets for Elyse, Annika and Sam (Elyse's boyfriend) for a Thanksgiving visit. Had to change their flights once because I originally booked them for the week before (duh).
