Bismarck and Uncle Bill

August 19, 2007

Yesterday we mounted our new TV in the RV and it traveled well today.  We went through Fargo and are now settled in Bismarck.  The large sunflower and amber wheat fields we passed through were a colorful change of pace from the green corn, soybean and sugar beet fields.  We visited with my Uncle Bill, his son Bill and his granddaughter Shannon this afternoon.   The last time I saw him was when he picked me up at McCord Air Force base and took me around town before I went to Korea almost 37 years ago.  We crossed the continental divide today.  Not the one separating East from West but the one separating North from South.  We went across the northern continental divide where water flows to Hudson Bay and then back to the Missouri River this afternoon.
