Camp hosts at Lampe Campground
Wow, it's 9/9/9 today, only 3 more of those triple number dates to go in the entire century. On Labor Day the campground was full up, that night there were only four other trailers and last night there was nobody else here. These are easy times for the camp hosts. We expect the weekdays to be quiet with some activity on the weekends if the weather stays good. We moved to the camp host site and went to a picnic at Ray & Debbie Winghart’s on Monday then, yesterday, we drove to Corry to visit Alesa’s Aunt Helen at Corry Manor and her Aunt Betty at home. On the way home we stopped at the Erie County Airport which has been for sale for years; that would be fun if we were younger and there were better year-round flying weather. This morning we watched the Niagara sail off to the North for crew training and the geese fly south for the winter.
