Camp Nana-Papa /Tuesday

August 12, 2008

Today we started out at the Exton Diner and the kids were very good while past visits have always been a challenge.   We came home to "Indian Day" where we exercised and then built a cabin out of an old recliner box and painted it.  Bailey built a teepee while the girls started to build dolls.  After lunch, hosted by Bailey in the teepee, we played outside which included the cabin, the teepee, a wheelbarrow, a garden wagon, lost of rocks and wood, a few trees, a hammock and a few misfortunate insects.  We even retrieved a bracelet lost by Bridget under the deck when they lived here.  It fell apart this afternoon in the hammock so it will have to be reconstructed.  Tonight Nana held her book club in the "cabin" and then we cooked hot dogs over the fire, ate chocolate covered pretzel sticks and s'mores, opted out of popcorn balls due to Bailey's tongue crib and are now watching Harry Potter.  Made popcorn for the movie and Sea Foam while the girls were taking their showers and Bailey got to lick the spoon & beaters.  Bailey must have put 25 miles on the wheelbarrow and garden wagon today.  He was  like the Teamsters, if you had a twig to move 2 feet he had to move it.
