Cataract Surgery

January 12, 2022

Alesa had surgery on her right eye this morning. She will have the left eye done in a couple of weeks. She is getting new lenses in the process so she should no longer have to wear glasses. She is doing very well but will rest for the remainder of the day to let the 'drugs' wear off. We have been busy with doctors' appointments since we try to get them out of the way in January. Although they seem to want to see us more often due to our advancing age. We did get some golf in as Alesa will be off the tour for a while due to her surgery and the same goes for water volleyball. She will continue to keep busy in the yard planting her posies and harvesting her vegetables. I am still waiting to get an MRI on my shoulder. It doesn't really hurt anymore but I am worried about the possibility of creating more damage. We had the palm tree trimmed the other day to include a 'diamond' cut on the trunk and it looks nice. We also got an Oculus Quest II VR unit which is awesome and a lot of fun. We have been testing out many VR sites to include touring a lot of cities and countries (to include outer space). We have also been playing golf remotely with Jeff and Bailey.
