Yesterday we camped at the Desert Rose in Bloomfield, NM.  We went into Farmington where they were having their annual Riverfest.  It was a large park on the Animas river and we got plenty of hiking.  The food and entertainment were great as well.  Today we went to Chaco Canyon.  It was a very interesting day.  They don't get many visitors because it is out of the way and the last 16 miles is a very bumpy dirt road.  If you're there when it rains, they won't let you out because the road crosses the stream bed and there are no bridges.  We had to drive around a snake on the road on the way in.
