Charleston, SC
Today we drove into Charleston and parked by White Point Gardens. Flat Stanley and Monk wanted to stay in the truck so we left them. They aren't as dumb as they look. We walked through downtown to the old market and then through the French Quarter. This time we walked through the neighborhoods by the old homes and other buildings and through and around White Point Gardens. It was another long and beautiful walk. We then drove around town toward North Charleston to visit a few parks and to see what the rest of Charleston looks like. We visited the Citadel which has a very beautiful campus with all the old, large, white, castle-like buildings and all the students (cadets) in uniform. We stopped at the stadium and the "boys" insisted on having their picture taken with the Bulldog. It dropped to 39 last night and was at 50 as we started our walk but was just above 70 when we ended. Should be low 50's tonight.
