Christmas Eve
We had another great family Christmas Eve. The kids came over in the afternoon and we ate and played and ate and played. Nana coordinated the grandkids making and stuffing stockings for each other which was the culmination of months of shopping for the perfect gifts and the stress of making sure each kid selected the correct gifts to stuff for their giftee. After the grandkids put on a little christmas play we opened gifts which included the grandkids' traditional PJs and slippers. After the kids left to prepare for Santa, Alesa and I went to Christmas Eve services at St Peter's Episcopal where Linda Holden was singing in the choir. Afterwards the Holdens and Goodmans came over to the house for a bit of holiday cheer. I did not get to bed until after 2AM so Christmas has been mostly a day of rest for us.
