Craig & Janet
Took the golf car to the shop on Thursday and got a loaner so we could still golf. The governor had stopped working so they rebuild part of the transmission under warranty and we picked it up the next day. We had Paul and Carol over for BBQ'ed chicken on Friday. Saturday we headed down to Naples with the truck to help Craig and Janet with the last part of their move. Namely to move a car hood for one of his sons-in-law along with some other odds and ends. The hood didn't fit in the back of Craig's truck but it did fit nicely in mine. We took an inflatable bed, as they have no furniture left there, and slept in our regular room. They had pretty much packed the trailer so we all went for a walk on the new Greenway behind the zoo and along the Gordon river on Saturday night. They then took us to Carrabba's for a nice dinner. Sunday we went to Mel's diner for breakfast, finished packing the truck and trailer and headed off to Lutz. Janet stayed in Naples since her last day of teaching is Thursday. She will be donating/disposing some items and then packing the few remaining items in the car and heading to Lutz. They hope to be able to close on the house remotely on Friday. Once we unloaded the trailer we left Craig to return the trailer and 'settle in'.
