We had the girls this weeked.  Miss Ellie was a little under the weather so we had to change plans and keep her inside.  We downloaded 'The Velveteen Rabbit" on Directv for the girls to watch and then  downloaded the ebook on the kindle for Ellie to read as well.  Annika read a little too, but much preferred to slide across the family room on our four wheeled footstool.  They made cookies, soup and baked, built and decorated gingerbread houses.  We also watched the 'miracle at the new meadowlands' on Sunday afternoon.  On Monday we went over to Abington to attend Ellie's gradeschool holiday concert.  Annika is learning the Cello but the third graders did not participate.  As  we sat behind the student body at the concert I couldn't help but try and determine a way to capture that boundless energy being spent in front of us, and each in their own little world.

  We got up a few times last night to watch different stages of the total lunar eclipse.  The sky was clear and we could see it through our bedroom windows.
