Enterprise

This is not a commercial but not very often does a car rental experience become a high point of a trip. A few weeks ago I began looking on the internet to reserve a car and everyone wanted at least $170 for a 3 day rental. When I went to the Enterprise site they only wanted $48, so what's the catch? After a few days I decided to reserve the car and wait for the other $120 shoe to drop. Upon arrival we caught the shuttle and were taken aback by how friendly and helpful the driver was, as they usually are. Inside the rental building there were hordes of helpers. We chose Casey who was truly interested in making our experience as simple as possible and gave us his business card with instruction to call if we had any problems or questions. He then walked us out to a Ford Focus but were offered the opportunity to choose from multitudes if we wanted to try a different car. We drove the Focus to the gate, got our paperwork and headed out. The tank wasn't quite full so I thought, there's the other shoe, we are going to get dinged for fuel costs. It took 5 gallons to fill it up once we got to Golden. My plan was to return it with the same amount of gas as when I took it. We drove all around Denver and the mountains and I added another gallon or so before we returned it. We drove up to hordes of friendly return agents and they asked about our experience. I said a little underpowered but just fine. As we talked I commented that the tank was not full when I got the car but not to worry because I returned it at about the same level. She pressed as to what she could do to make it right and I said not to worry. But, she gave us $20 credit and we had a 3 day car rental for $23.64 and one of the best customer service experiences I've had.
