Left Watertown this morning and arrived in Erie early this afternoon after driving through some pretty heavy thunderstorms in NY state. We got off the NY thruway in Westfield and drove through Ripley and stopped off at the old house. It looked empty and was in pretty sad shape. Drove to Erie on Rt 5 and stopped at the Whippy Dip before getting to Bob's. He and Cathy had Marilyn and the Browns over for dinner and we relived old times before we crashed for the night.
