Tonight was the Erie Club Christmas Party. We usually take December off from meetings since many people head back home for Christmas or are busy with other parties. The club is growing and a quick poll during last month's meeting showed a number of people interested. So we had the affair catered by the Oakwood Smokehouse, we provided a salad and everyone brought a few of their favorite cookies to share for dessert. We also had a 'Yankee Swap' gift exchange where everyone brings a gift, everyone selects a gift and goes through a semi-orderly process of 'stealing' from each other. I am sure you have played this and called it something different but the 46 'Erie-ites' in attendance enjoyed themselves as well as the fact they didn't have to shovel the driveway to get there.
