We have been home for 3 busy days.  The first day I had an appointment at the VA hospital and we (Alesa) had a dinner party while they were installing Direct TV (not the guests).  The second day I had an eye exam (still 20/20) , began packing for our trip back to Erie, delayed our return to Erie by a day and went to Jeff’s to meet the new dog, see the grandkids, upgrade our cell phones and abscond with their neighbor’s unused satellite dish. Today we continued packing, returned the Comcast cable TV equipment and forwarded the mail to Bob’s for the month of September.  Mike stopped over after a business meeting and we gave him the hat Laura and Steve had given us in Maine.  It should keep his head warm while driving his Wrangler.  He is alone this week as all his girls are at the shore.  Tomorrow we are off to Erie to be campground hosts at Lampe.
