Today we had 'Purple Heart' stop over to pick up some donations and the downsizing continues. We rented a small cultivator and tilled the remaining garden areas, created a new pond and fountain in the middle of the yard, mulched a lot of the recently trimmed limbs,set up a new compost barrel, made a 3x9 raised garden frame and got the spot ready for planting. Alesa ended the day by drinking wine by the fountain until the sun went behind the house and it got too cold and I ended it by relaxing my sore muscles in the hot tub with a little wine. We have radish and turnip plants poking through the soil.
