Tomorrow they come to measure for the new kitchen countertops so we pulled off the old ones to refinish the walls and retrofit the cabinets for the Zodiaq countertops. We aren't going to have a backsplash or the same overhang so more of the wall and cabinet fronts will be visible. It took a few days but the old countertops are back on and all the plumbing operational. They plan to install on the 29th. Yesterday we went down to the Schuylkill River Park in Philadelphia to help clean up the park as part of Gannon University's annual G.I.V.E. program (Gannon Invitation to Volunteer Everywhere).
