Steve and Laura's youngest daughter Kate, is marrying Brian DeBever on Saturday so we flew out to Golden to attend the wedding. I traveled a lot during my career but this is the first time we have flown since I retired in '06. That, my new metal hip, some changes in the process and Alesa's fear of flying created a little concern which proved to be unfounded. Alesa got some magic pills and we went extra early. The streamlined security processes and the whole body scan moved things right along. Got a good picture of Lake Erie and Cleveland but Erie was under a cloud cover, go figure. We got to Denver on time and drove through the city before registering, meeting friends and then taking a quick refresher tour of the City of Golden, a wonderful place. Even had a chance to help set up for the wedding at the Fossil Trace Country Club where they are planning an outside ceremony.
