Thursday afternoon, Bob and Ann Goodman flew into Orlando from Philly and we picked them up after some shopping in town. They will be staying with us for a week. Yesterday, after they rented a golf car, we went to the Dragon Boat Regatta on Lake Sumter to watch Alesa paddle. It was a demonstration of the dragon boat activity and they raced, hand paddled, had a tug-o-war and then a barrel race. It was a good time and Alesa won all the events in which she competed. We then took them to the Eisenhower Rec center where we toured and introduced them to Pickle Ball, where they did quite well. Today we toured, shopped, played billiards, went to open houses and played some more Pickle Ball. They are sleeping very well. Tomorrow is Alesa's 65th birthday so we will be celebrating. Alesa had told Jeff she wanted a box of Noodles (golf balls) for her birthday so today she got a box of noodles in the mail; egg noodles, spaghetti, ramen,etc. A box of Noodles. But, on the bottom was an actual box of Noodle golf balls. LOL.
