We celebrated Easter today, a day early as is our usual custom so the kids don't have to rush between families.  We started with a late lunch/early dinner and the grandkids opened their gifts, new clothes plus a cocoa crispies Easter basket made by Nana and filled with candy.  Bridget tried on her 'baggy' clothes and then they all played outside as it was a beautiful day.  Mike played with the i-pad he bought this morning while the rest of us visited and watched TV.  When the kids came back in they colored Easter eggs and then had organized egg battles.  A double elimination affair where they bang the eggs together with the 'survivor' winning the match.  Bridget was the big winner, she got to keep her undamaged egg in a 'place of honor' while everybody else just ate theirs.  Another great day with family and tomorrow we head off to Erie for a couple of days.
