Happy Mothers' Day

May 11, 2020

First and foremost, hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday, it is well deserved. I golfed yesterday morning while Alesa had some cherished alone time. They lowered the sleeves in the golf holes to below ground level so the ball falls in the hole but still above the surface so one does not have to reach into the hole or remove the flag. Probably because the number of holes-in-one reported in the paper has ballooned. We relaxed and Zoom'ed with both families. All is well and we had wonderful visits, and Alesa truly enjoyed the Mothers' Day wishes as well as passing them along to the daughters-in-law. Mike sent us a very nice picture of himself with his dog, Arthur, on a walk. The point being that he tells everyone, his mother made the hat. I ended the day swimming laps in the pool. Alesa had a crown come off yesterday so she called this morning and we will call from their parking lot at 3 this afternoon to have it reattached. We will then head to Lake Okahumpka park for a hike. We remade the video of Alesa making gooey cookies and it is now on Youtube at https://youtu.be/GHjDACrQklE . Called other relatives today to see how everyone is doing. They are fine. Turns out my sister and one of her sons had the virus in March and suffered little more than a cough,
