Happy Mothers' Day

May 9, 2021

Hope you all had a great day . Took a few days to totally recover from our trip and we are now back to our normal routines of water volleyball, golf and numerous other activities. These also include eating Erie chocolates and Urbaniak's meats. It was very hot and humid for a few days this week and Alesa decided we could turn on the A/C. The heat has backed off a bit so it is now off again. We have booked our flights to and from Phoenix in June and we also booked the flights for our two week cruise in France during October. Now we just hope it happens. In 2015 we took a trip to Prince Edward Island and Novia Scotia with Steve and Laura. While there, we visited the Cape Breton Miners' Museum which included a tour into a mine which extended under the Atlantic Ocean; Alesa skipped the tour. During the tour Steve took a picture of me which Alesa has always liked. So, for Mothers' Day at her request I ordered a canvas print of it and she has hung it in our dining room. Also in the dining room is the 'Gallery of Honor' which contains pictures of our grandchildren as they graduated High School. It is now complete as Bridget will be graduating on May 27th. By each class picture is a small picture of each of them with painted faces from a 'Camp Nana-Papa' many years ago.
