Yesterday morning we went to the site per Friday's instructions but no one was there.  They had MLK day off but didn't find out until Saturday.  So we did more sightseeing.  We went west on Rt. 87 toward Galveston until it went off into the Gulf.  It has been closed since Andrew.  We knew that before we started but wanted to see the beach and walk the birding trails.  We relaxed at the trailer and went to Golden Corral again for dinner.  Today at work we were able to finish the last two corners of the deck.  Today we worked with Mike and Marilyn Stone from Wisconsin and have included pictures of the corners for John & Coby, Chuck & Joyce and Drew & Ann from last week's crew.  We got fuel at Crawdad's which we pass everyday to and from work.  We had to get a picture because Crawdad is an old Crawford nickname by which I have been known over the years.  While we were waiting for supplies/tools this morning we were talking about the damage caused by the hurricanes.  It is hard to picture this entire area under five feet of water.
