While it is Labor Day it is a day of rest for us.  We drove south on I-5 by Salem, Corvallis and Eugene and are 136 miles north of the California border.  Passed over the 45th Parallel today which means we are now closer to the Equator than to the North Pole.  We had crossed it northbound in Michigan.  The RV resort we are in tonight has a drive in theater on site but movies are on Thursday nights.  Tomorrow we should make it to the Redwood National Park on the California coast.
