Home on the Road
After a good nights sleep we packed up and headed south with me driving the truck pulling the trailer and Alesa following in the Hyundai. We traded the tall corn and yellow tobacco plants of the Amish for the green mountains of the Shenandoah Valley. We stopped about 3:00 at the Endless Cavern RV resort just below New Market, Va. Alesa was comfortable driving but we hit a lot of rain on I-81 so we decided to stop and visit her cousins near Harrisonburg. We camped under a large tree for the last two nights so I was happy to see the rain because the birds were none too kind to our vehicles but Mother Nature fixed that. To quote Jummy Buffett. “Breathe in, breathe out, move on.” We are not moving from Pennsylvania and our friends and family but we are just opening a branch office in the south.
