Intracoastal Tour
February 9, 2015
This morning we noticed a manatee towing something around and went downstairs to investigate and free him if necessary. It turned out to be a tracking buoy attached with a 10 foot lead strapped around his tail. No rescue necessary. We then walked on the beach, walked on Atlantic Avenue, took a 2 hour cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway, ate lunch at John G's of Palm Beach, swam in the complex pool, waited for the launch and ate dinner at Poppie's in Delray Beach. The cruise was a great tour with a lot of parks and a ton of million dollar homes. We even saw another manatee with a tracking buoy. The launch was postponed again until tomorrow and we got a lot of rain late this afternoon.
