Our friends, the Ipps, rent out their house for 3 months every winter and travel. This year they rented a cottage on Lake Weir in Ocklawaha for two months and then will be in Gainesville for the last month. Yesterday was her birthday and they had a party so we spent some time on the lake since it's less than 20 mile away and it's the first time she has been around for her birthday. On the 19th I watched an Atlas 5 launch on the internet then went outside to watch it above the houses. Alesa is now the Vice President of her Platform Tennis Club so, of course, I have been busy fixing their mailing lists (Email contacts) and their web page. Don't want to own it but it's harder to help someone else do it. Craig and Janet were up last weekend for pickleball and yesterday we went to the Fish Camp restaurant with the Maloneys. We got a chance to use the gift certificate Mike and family got us for Christmas. I had the Wednesday special of a pound of fresh shrimp, Yum! The weather has been good 40s or 50s at night and 70s during the day. We took the golf cart up to the landing tonight to see one of our favorite groups. You can tell it's the season and the 'snow birds' are back by the traffic and the crowds.
