Jeff
Jeff had a business meeting in Clearwater and arrived here on Thursday night to spend the weekend with us and flew home on Sunday afternoon. Alesa has had some pain in her right shoulder so she had an MRI and met with an orthopedic surgeon this morning. The result is, no real damage other than normal aging. Good news, less (shoulder) activity = less pain. Friday, since it was cold and wet, we toured the new areas in The Villages and that afternoon Jeff and Alesa played tennis and invented a new sport they call "jungle tennis", don't ask'. They make the rules up as they go. After a great meal we all went to the entertainment at Brownwood with the 'Justin Heet Band' then up to Lake Sumter Landing for the 'Spasmatics 80s Glow Party'. Saturday morning we went early to play 18 holes at the Chip and Putt course then home in time for Craig and Janet to come and play Pickleball. He brought up a gift of a new tabletop he made containing a checkerboard and a backgammon board, very nice. After another good meal Craig and Janet had to leave to babysit Zach's kids so we rested before playing shuffleboard then off to McDonalds for an ice cream treat with all three of us in the golf cart. Sunday morning we played platform tennis then some normal tennis. My guess is that, while I went to the equipment shed to get a third racket, they started their 'jungle tennis' but the people in the next court didn't appreciate it so they went back to normal. Jeff left around 11 for a 1 o'clock flight and arrived home by 5. We watched golf and caught up. Alesa if off this afternoon to play water volleyball with the ladies.
