Jeff's family et. al.

April 13, 2014

We continued to golf with Ed last week but Ann did not join us because she had hurt her knee. Although Ed's sister, Bunny, did join us on Tuesday. Thursday we watched a rocket launch from our Lanai and that evening we went to the Erie Club meeting. Being one of the social committee I had to supply the submarine sandwiches for 60 people. All went well and the night was spent playing Bunco. Friday morning we picked Jeff and family up at the Tampa airport. They had an enjoyable flight and even arrived early. After a short tour we arrived home in time for the delivery of a four seat golf cart. We then embarked on a full golf cart tour of the villages. Bob and Cathy arrived that evening to stay for 2 nights. Saturday we gave them an auto tour of the villages while Jeff and family went to the pool, played pickle ball, shuffleboard, tennis an Bocce. That afternoon Ann prepared and brought the makings for bratwurst sandwiches and we also invited Paul and Carol. Late that afternoon, Bob, Jeff, Bailey and I went golfing. We were going to meet the ladies at Sumter Square for the DJ Scooter show but they had enough dancing by the time we finished so we golfed a couple of more holes and met them at home. This morning Bob and I joined Jeff and family at the pool and later Alesa joined us as we went back to play pickleball and tennis. This afternoon Jim and Mary Claire along with Fred and Danny Dudenhoefer joined us for a visit from Claremont. This evening Jeff, Bailey and I headed over to a local course after it closed and was closed and were able to get in 7 holes before it got too dark. Needless to say we are exhausted but having a wonderful time.
