Today is the first day of hurricane season and we hope it will be a mild one. We aren't expecting to have any problems but are stocking up to be prepared just in case. Thursday we drove over to Mt. Dora to have lunch with the Abates, friends of Mike and Lisa who moved to Florida two years ago. They have five kids and are well settled. We had a great lunch at their home with the kids and then walked around downtown Mt. Dora with Charlie and Cheryl. It was an enjoyable afternoon and we hope to see a lot more of them.
