We spent Saturday visiting, getting the flowers to Fossil Trace and waiting for it to rain. And it did rain, a good old fashioned gully washer which did not subside until after the scheduled 6PM start time. It was delayed in the hopes of it drying out but it was not to be. The ceremony was held in-doors which was very nice and personal, a good thing. The only inconvenience was to the soggy participants and attendees who dashed through the downpour and flooded streets to get there. It was fun and enjoyable and certainly memorable, and the cake was good too.
