Keeping Busy

March 22, 2020

Semi annual blood test at the VA on Wednesday. Next Wednesday they will be doing my oncology appointment over the phone. Got the Explorer tires installed on Thursday. They told me I was lucky because they were told to shut down the operation and I was the last customer. Also took two golf cart wheels with me and had new tires installed. Picked my Harley tire up on Friday, put it back on and took a little ride. Talked to both of the boys and their families and they are all doing well. Bailey was not happy about leaving school until they went to clean out his dorm room and he saw there was no one there. Annika is a senior this year and I am sure they will figure a way give them all their diplomas but I am pretty sure a graduation ceremony is out of the question. Jeff and Mike work mostly from home anyways. Jeff is particularly happy because he is not traveling. Golfed with the guys on Sunday and kept our social distance. We all took our own carts. The Villages closed all the pools a few days ago. They had asked to limit to 10 but nobody listened so they had to close them down. Can't tell old people what to do, especially with all the "special" ones we have here who don't have to obey rules. Can't believe how many families are still down visiting for spring break. Like the virus is not spreading fast enough. Alesa and I went out this evening for a long walk on the Hog Eye preserve trail. Very nice and crowded but we kept the proper distances. Have to keep our activity levels up. Be safe!
