Hard to believe the kids have been here a week and now we are headed north in the morning. We were going to leave later but we want to take a few days and don't want to be driving over the July 4th weekend. The kids slept in this morning and after breakfast headed over to the pool with Alesa while I stayed home and made reservations for the trip north as well as stopping the paper, holding the mail, etc. After lunch the kids helped Alesa with some yard work and I mowed the lawn. Bailey and Alesa golfed late this afternoon and we all spent a bit of time packing. We'll leave after we get up in the morning, visit Savannah before spending the night outside of Charlestown. We will spend most of the day touring Charleston before spending the night at South of the Border, mainly so Bailey can get some fireworks. Thursday morning we will drive to Kill Devil Hill to a motel on the beach on the Outer Banks. Friday we will tour Kitty Hawk and head to Jeff's via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel and avoid D.C.
