A normal golf Sunday except Alesa went to platform tennis boot camp instead so I invited Eugene Fales to join the foursome for the day. This was his first round of golf in The Villages, he did well and seemed to enjoy it. Eugene and Connie and Alesa and I will golf tomorrow on the Truman course. Their new house is across the street from the green on the 6th hole of Truman so I am sure they are looking forward to playing it. I put up a new sunscreen today in the lanai which will help control the heat and brightness of the morning sun. Also made a half a batch of root beer. There are now 2 and a half gallons of root beer brewing in our guest bathtub. The bottles are behind drawn curtains because I remember how, once in a while, a bottle of my mother's root beer would explode from the pressure. My bottles are not glass but you can't be too careful.
