Yesterday we attended a free platform tennis lesson at the Eisenhower Rec Center. It's just like regular tennis except a smaller court and you use a paddle and firm foam balls and the court is surrounded by tight, heavy gauge chicken wire so you can play the ball off the wires, a lot like racquetball. Another great sport which doesn't require too much running. Last night we met the Maloneys, Tim and Cheryl, for dinner at the Lighthouse Café at Lake Sumter Landing then went to Brownwood for the Christmas tree lighting. We all then came back to the house for drinks and conversation. I graduated from Prep with Tim 48 years ago and we always enjoy getting together with them. Tonight is the neighborhood Christmas party at the Bradenton Rec center.
