Merry Christmas

December 25, 2011

Wednesday we had the girls for a few hours while Mike and Lisa went to his boss's Christmas party in the area and on Thursday we went to breakfast with the Schweds. We had our family Christmas on Christmas eve day and it was another wonderful get together. We had a teasure hunt for the kids where they had to decode a clue to find the next clue, they helped each other so they all could get their treasure boxes at the end. We ate a hearty Nana meal, opened presents and played games until Mike and family had to leave so Lisa could be to work at 8. She works days during the week but the crew rotates part of the weekend duties and her Saturday fell on Christmas eve. We started early in the day so we had plenty of time to party. The only mishap was when Bridget fell and chipped her two front teeth at the end of the evening. Nothing too serious but she will be going to the dentist soon. Today was a recovery day and we went to see "War Horse" with the Goodmans. Tomorrow I have to take the truck to the shop because it has begun blowing large amounts of white smoke from the tailpipe and we haven't elected a pope lately. Tomrrow we also help the Schweds move furniture to their son's because they bought all new furniture for their living room. On Thursday I check into the University of Pennsylvania Hospital for an ablation on Friday and should be home on Saturday to ring in the New Year.
