Mike and family arrived last night after a night with Lisa's cousin in Charlotte. We took the girls out driving in the golf cart and today we went to Lake Okahumpka State Park. Mike and I played 9 holes of Frisbee golf while the girls walked and took pictures for Annika's school assignment. There was even a grove of banana (plantain) trees. The kids left this afternoon to stay with friends in Mt. Dora but we will see them tomorrow to kayak with the Manatees at Blue Springs and then Wednesday at Lynn's in Lakeland before they come back here for Thanksgiving. On Monday we went to The Lake Hills School with a member of TBR who has professional Corporate fundraising experience. She will work with the principal to help her set up corporate relationships for the support of the students. Monday night, Larry and Diane Carullo took Alesa and I out to dinner at the Glenview Country Club as a thank-you for the help given them when they were away from their new place in The Villages and as they settled in. Wednesday I had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and was clean as a whistle so I am good for another 5 years. Thursday we had Larry and Diane over so we could teach them pickleball and platform tennis. Then we went out to dinner with Paul and Carol.
