Saturday was Mike's 41st birthday (yikes) and Sunday they had their annual tailgate party at their house. It was a good time, as always, with good food and friends, some of whom we only see once a year. The weather was perfect and the Eagles even beat the Redskins. During the week we have been walking and there are a few very nice new trails in the area, especially along the Brandywine. We switched around some drawer fronts and pulls and also built a test door for the corner cabinet under the counter. There was some question of the type of door and which way it should open so now that we have used it for a few days and are comfortable with the design, I can order custom doors, install them and finish the frame. They also came today and smoothed out the small chip by the sink. Bridget had her cast removed today (with a chain saw according to her) and is doing very well, just a few more weeks of taking it easy on it and she'll be as good as new.
