We are puppy sitting for the neighbors (The Ladies) as they are on a cruise. Miles is a 17-week-old Akita puppy and is settling in relatively well. We are keeping busy feeding, walking and watching him. He is fairly well behaved and Alesa can get her fill of puppy-belly rubbing. We walk him around the neighborhood and all of the neighbors know him. I have fulfilled my quarantine and will be moving back into my bedroom tonight. I also came out of afib last night and my heart rate and blood pressure to normal numbers. I still have the cough but it can hang on for a week or more. Alesa took my place at golf this morning so I had puppy duty. I took Miles for a walk and after we got back and I went to sit down, Miles had commandeered my chair. Spent much of the day moving 'stuff' out of the closets and bedrooms because tomorrow they begin the flooring install. The installers will move most of the stuff but we wanted to get the breakable and inconvenient stuff out of the way. It will make the install go faster and it's a good chance to clean out the closets. They are deep and things tend to get pushed back and forgotten. Pretty much finished our income taxes the other night but won't file until April as we owe a small balance.
