Today they opened the last planned regional recreation center. There was a grand opening and they had the respective clubs demonstrating the facilities as well as clubs inside displaying their crafts/interests.. All the existing rec centers have around 6 pickleball courts each but this one has 18. A testament to how popular pickleball has become. And for Alesa, it has 6 new platform tennis courts. We now have 160 pickleball courts in The Villages to go with the 630 holes of golf. It is now the largest number of golf holes in a single community in the world. This morning I installed a GFI outlet in our closet so Alesa could plug in a fan and this afternoon built a new work table in the recess in the garage.
