Happy New Year everybody !!!  Bailey and Bridget came over last night to spend New Year's Eve and Day with us.  They played and then Bailey built a car and Bridget put together a puzzle.  They wanted to stay up until the ball dropped but didn't quite make it so I woke them up before midnight and they laid in bed with us and watched the ball drop.  Today they helped take down the Christmas decorations with Bailey taking down the tree.  Since one of the trees was in the bay window, Bailey now had the room to expand his lighted village.  Bridget set the table and made plans for New Year's dinner with their parents.  They both waited tables and even ran dinner activities.  We were sure to have pork and sauerkraut for luck because we didn't have it last year and it wasn't the best December.  The kids are now home in their own beds, Nana is collapsed in her's and I am just enjoying the peace and quiet.
